RID Snapp'd

Hello everyone! I have been busy slaving my brains away here in Tokyo. I finally have some blog posts queue'd and ready to go, but in the meantime, here is a quick outfit post from some street snaps of me taken by RIDSNAP.

Lately I've been really inspired by Japanese and Kimono-like silhouettes, big shoulders....Even traditional Samurai "Kataginu" shaped garments. I think it comes a mixture of a slight obsession I had with a Thom Browne collection a few seasons ago, and also with my interest in mixing vintage fashion and eastern asian clothing together.

Here's the details!

Glasses: 90's Vintage
Outer Layering Piece: A traditional style Japanese pajama-like garment used to stay warm when you're sleeping. I found it at a shop in Koenji that sold a lot of geta sandals, yukata's etc.
Pinback Button: Gift form the brand Nusumigui
Shirt: 80s Go Ouch Button Down Shirt
Suspenders: 80s Vintage
Shorts: 1950s Boxing Shorts
Jeans: H&M
Bracelet: 90's WWJD
Socks: Christopher Nemeth
Shoes: Belly Button by Tokyo Bopper
